Messy Church began in 2004 and there are now over 3,500 around

the world. It is a kind of 'church' for families to come and have fun.

A typical event includes arts and crafts, games and songs based on a

Bible story, followed by afternoon tea. It's a chance to be creative

whilst listening to a positive Christian message. It's also a great

community event where we all get to meet up and socialise too.

Messy Church, Marchwood is organised by St John's, the Gospel

Church and Gateway Church and we have been operating for over ten

years now. We meet at key times of the year; Easter, the village

fete, a Light Party at the end of October, and also celebrate

Christmas in the form of a Messy Christingle service.

If you would like to join us feel free to come along to our next

event, they are usually publicised around the village well in advance.

It's a warm friendly atmosphere and great fun too. See you there!
